In affiliate marketing, the platforms that you use to promote the links and banners that you find on FlexOffers.com are known as traffic sources. These can include websites, ads that you buy, your software application, a custom email list, your own network, your popular social media profile, or other innovative sources.
As a FlexOffers.com publisher, your account can include one or multiple traffic sources. So long as those traffic sources have been reviewed and approved by our compliance department, you’ll be able to promote links and banners for the advertisers that you are approved for on there.
This article will teach you how to ADD, EDIT, or DELETE a traffic source on your FlexOffers.com publisher account.
Add a traffic source
1. Click on your account ID at the top-right of the screen and then click Traffic Sources to access the Traffic Source Management page.
2. Click the Select Traffic Source menu, select your traffic source type from the list that appears, and then click the Add Traffic Source button. Please see the Traffic Source Type section of this article for a description of each option. 
3. Fill in the details about your traffic source. Be truthful and as accurate as possible, as this is the information that our team reviews when evaluating your traffic source.
4. Click the Submit Traffic Source button to submit the traffic source now, or click the Save Draft button to save your traffic source and submit it later.
5. If the new traffic source you submitted is a website, you'll need to verify that you own it by clicking the Verify link and following the instructions that appear.
Our compliance department gets hundreds of applications daily, but don’t worry - they usually review every completed application for a new traffic source application within 2 business days or less. You should receive an email from FlexOffers.com in that time with the results of your review.
If it has been more than two business days since you have submitted your application to add a new traffic source to your FlexOffers.com publisher account, please email our team at support@flexoffers.com.

Edit a traffic source
To edit a traffic source, go to the Traffic Source Management page. Here, you’ll see all of your traffic sources and be able to make the following changes to them.
- VERIFY WEBSITES that you have recently submitted as a traffic source. Click the Verify button next to the traffic source to get the instructions.
- CHECK STATUS of a traffic source that you have submitted for review. The status appears next to the traffic source name, and will be Approved, Pending, or Declined.
- EDIT DRAFT traffic sources, which have not yet been submitted for approval. Here, you can make changes to a traffic source and submit it for approval.
If you have other edits that you would like to make to one of your traffic sources, such as changing your website name or updating the answers on your submission form, please email the details to our team at support@flexoffers.com.

Delete a traffic source
Note: The following steps cannot be undone. If there's only one approved traffic source, it cannot be deleted. Unapproved traffic sources also cannot be deleted.
1. Go to the Traffic Source Management page and locate the traffic source you'd like to delete.
2. Once you've located the traffic source, click the Delete button.
3. Click the Yes button to confirm the deletion, or click No to cancel it.
Please remember, per our terms and conditions, you can only promote an advertiser on a traffic source that has been specifically approved to do so.
For example, if you are approved to promote links and banners for the DEPARTMENT STORE affiliate program on your website, you may not promote those links and banners on your social media page unless it has also been approved to promote that advertiser’s links and banners.

Traffic Source Types
- My Website - I will place links and/or banner ads into a website that I own or am authorized to manage.
- Ads That I Buy – I will buy ad placements in search engines, the websites of others, rented email lists, or acquire my traffic from another ad network and send them to FlexOffers.com’s advertisers.
- My Software Application – I have a desktop or mobile application and I will promote FlexOffers.com’s advertisers inside that application.
- My Email Lists – I have a list of email addresses and I periodically send ads to that list.
- My Own Network – I run a network of Publishers and would like to have FlexOffers.com’s affiliate program in our network.
- Social Media – Select this option if you have a profile/page on (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, or Pinterest) that you want to place links and/or banner ads on.
- Another Source – Please provide a detailed explanation as to what method you will use to promote affiliate programs if not listed in one of the above options.
